How much is a security deposit?
If your first month’s rent is $900, your security deposit would be $1,800. ($900 for the first month’s rent, $900 for a security deposit), plus the cost of a new lock and key.
Do you allow pets?
Many properties do allow pets. However, the pet policy varies from property to property, depending upon the properties terms.
What is a lease agreement form?
A residential lease is a legally binding contract made between a landlord and tenant. The lease gives a tenant the right to exclusive use and enjoyment of the described residential property in exchange for money paid to the landlord.
How long does it take to complete the application process?
We like to keep things fast and simple so we offer a streamlined application process. Once you locate the property you want, the application process typically can be completed within 24 to 48 hours.
When can I move in?
After the application process is completed, the lease agreement signed, and required payments collected, you are free to move in to your new home.
Why do I need to be referenced?
Meyers Family Rentals needs to be sure that our tenant won’t have any problems paying the rent on a monthly basis and that the tenant will take good care of our property.
When can my landlord enter the property?
We have to give the tenant notice before entering the property, unless it’s an emergency.
What if I want to end the tenancy?
If you are tied into a fixed term contract, you will be liable for the rent until the fixed term is finished. If you are no longer in a fixed term contract your tenancy agreement will define the notice you need to give.
